Marina Tucaković: Ima par tekstova gde sam stvarno lupala

Marina Tucaković i Zoran Milanović S
Spisateljica mnogostrukih neuspeha domaćeg zabavnomuzičkog podneblja pokušava da otkrije tajnu ove, izgleda, unosne i popularne profesije. Petar Luković, s druge strane, radoznalo pita sve i svašta, a rezultat ovog susreta je i intervju pred vama. Koliko znamo, žuti karton niko nije dobio, mada je prepirki bilo. Uostalom, pročitajte sami...

Muzika i tekst

Ovo je moj stav o odnosu muzike i teksta. Objavio sam ga prvi put na engleskom, a ne da mi se da ga prevodim, pa ako ne znate taj jezik, koristite se aplikacijom Google Translate: Consider this: the American Songbook composers, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Tori Amos - they all have hundreds of millions of fans across the globe, and probably ONLY one third to one half of them understand English or enough of it to appreciate the beauty of the lyrics. The point I'm trying to make? All of these songwriters should primarily be appreciated for the beauty and originality of their melodic lines, chordal structures and arrangements, not for the "stories" they tell. Their songs would lose very little if an inferior set of words were to be substituted for the originals. Their popularity among non-English speaking audiences confirms that. Conversely, many Americans and Britishers do enjoy the work of Jacques Brel, Yves Montand, and Edith Piaf without knowing a word of French. If you like poems, read great poets, but don't judge songs written in your native language based on their lyrics, as most musically ignorant critics do.

Roadhouse Blues

Evo celog teksta pesme "Roadhouse Blues". Pored toga, Jim Morrisona vecina rok kriticara i slusalaca smatra natprosecnim tekstopiscem. Keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel Keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel Yeah, we're goin' to the Roadhouse Gonna have a real Good time Yeah, in back of the Roadhouse they got some bungalows Yeah, in back of the Roadhouse they got some bungalows Death's for the people Who like to go down slow Let it roll, baby, roll Let it roll, baby, roll Let it roll, baby, roll Let it roll, all night long You gotta roll, roll, roll You gotta thrill my soul, alright Roll, roll, roll, roll, a'thrill my soul Ya gotta beep a gonk a chucha Honk konk konk Ya gotta, each you puna Each ya, bop a lula Each ya'll, bump a kechonk Ease some konk Ya, ride Ashen lady, Ashen lady Give up your vows, give up your vows Save our city, save our city Right now And I woke up, good mornin', and I got myself a beer Yeah, I woke up, good mornin', and I got myself a beer The future's uncertain and the end is always near Let it roll, baby, roll Let it roll, baby, roll Let it roll, baby, roll Let it roll, all night long
